Marine Preservation

The sea,perfected.

Marine appearance management for owners who expect a higher standard — finish correction, preservation, and presentation.

The Monarch Difference

We clean, correct,and protect.

Most detailers wash a boat and leave. Monarch works to a sequence — and we will tell you honestly when a surface does not need what you came in asking for.

Every vessel is inspected before it is touched, documented as we work, and handed back with a written record of exactly what was done.

Service Architecture

Built quietly.

A full architecture of preservation — wash, correction, protection, interior, seasonal, and care — escalating by what each surface needs. We recommend the lowest level that achieves the result.

Deck Preservation Washes
01

Deck Preservation Washes

Presentation-focused deck cleaning and contamination management.

Three escalating levels — from a refined maintenance reset to our Signature Deck Preservation — covering every deck surface, locker, and piece of hardware. The foundation of properly maintained boat care.

Hull Preservation & Waterline Treatment
02

Hull Preservation & Waterline Treatment

Topside hull cleaning and waterline stain treatment.

Topside hull cleaning and contamination management — from routine maintenance washing to deep decontamination ahead of correction, with the waterline restored to clarity.

Interior Preservation & Cabin Care
03

Interior Preservation & Cabin Care

Upholstery, leather, galley, and cabin detailing.

The same discipline we apply to every exterior surface, carried inside — three levels from a guest-ready refresh to our flagship Signature Cabin Restoration, beginning with inspection and ending with protection and documentation.

Deck Correction & Protection
04

Deck Correction & Protection

Gelcoat gloss, oxidation removal, and finish restoration.

When a deck is clean but lacks depth, gloss, or colour, correction restores gelcoat and painted surfaces through controlled, material-safe polishing and oxidation removal — three tiers, confirmed at inspection.

Hull Correction & Protection
05

Hull Correction & Protection

Gelcoat correction, oxidation removal, and gloss restoration.

When cleaning is no longer enough and the hull has lost its depth, clarity, or colour, we restore gelcoat through controlled, progressive refinement — from enhancement polish to multi-stage restoration.

Recovery & Restoration Services
06

Recovery & Restoration Services

Heavy recovery, wet sanding, and gelcoat restoration — by assessment.

Some vessels need more than a service level — they need a recovery. Never sold from a menu: each begins with a mandatory in-person inspection, an honest scope, and a clear plan. We proceed only where a genuine recovery is achievable.

Bottom Preparation
07

Bottom Preparation

Bottom cleaning and antifouling preparation.

The hull below the waterline determines how a vessel performs, ages, and survives the season. Proper bottom preparation is the foundation for every underwater protection system we install.

Protection Systems
08

Protection Systems

Marine ceramic, graphene, antifouling, and material protection.

Protection is the final stage of a finished surface — matched to the material, the exposure, and how you use the vessel. Applied only after a surface is clean and, where needed, corrected.

Marine Paint Protection Film & Window Tint
09

Marine Paint Protection Film & Window Tint

Marine PPF and ceramic window tint, professionally installed.

Advanced marine paint protection film and ceramic window tint form a durable, sacrificial barrier against UV, salt spray, dock contact, and abrasion — preserving the finish and improving onboard comfort for years.

Winterization & Seasonal Protection
10

Winterization & Seasonal Protection

Boat winterization, shrink wrap, and spring reactivation.

In Ontario, how a vessel enters winter determines how it emerges in spring. Monarch treats the off-season as part of preservation, not an interruption of it — close, cover, and reactivate, documented at every stage.

Vessel Care Programs
11

Vessel Care Programs

Recurring and managed year-round yacht care.

Structured recurring care for owners who want their vessel consistently presentable and protected without managing it themselves — Inspect, Clean, Correct if needed, Protect, on a schedule that matches how you use the boat. Every visit documented.

Brokerage & Sale Presentation
12

Brokerage & Sale Presentation

Listing, photography, and delivery presentation.

A vessel's condition is often the first thing a buyer notices. Monarch prepares boats for listing, photography, showings, and delivery so they present at their absolute best when it matters most.

New Owner Transition
13

New Owner Transition

A complete reset, protection setup, and care plan for a new boat.

Taking ownership should feel like a beginning, not an inheritance of someone else's neglect. A complete reset: brought to a high standard, protected for your first season, organized, and handed over with clear guidance.

Robotic Hull Maintenance
14

Robotic Hull Maintenance

Automated underwater hull cleaning — in development.

Continuous, automated underwater hull cleaning that keeps growth from ever taking hold — joining the Monarch marine programme soon.

Coming Soon
Protection Systems

The final stage ofa finished surface.

Protection is not an add-on sprayed over whatever is underneath. It is the third stage of the sequence — applied only after a surface is clean and, where needed, corrected.

Maintenance Shield

Wax / Sealant

Strong gloss and easier maintenance for seasonal owners who want protection without a long-term commitment.

Diamond Shield

Marine Ceramic

Multi-year protection on corrected gelcoat — gloss, hydrophobics, and resistance to UV and salt.

Flagship

Graphene Shield

Graphene / Nano Coating

Our flagship tier: added durability, depth, and surface performance for the highest level of finish protection.

Specialty protection — glass, vinyl, canvas, teak, and corrosion systems — is matched to material and exposure during inspection.

Always ready.Never neglected.

Structured recurring care that keeps a vessel presentable, protected, and ready — without you managing it. Every visit documented.

01

Weekly Marina Care

For high-use vessels and owners who entertain often.

Questions Owners Ask

Answered plainly.

How much does boat detailing cost in Toronto?

Boat detailing is priced per foot of vessel length. Our deck wash programs begin at CA$7 per foot, hull washing at CA$10 per foot, interior detailing at CA$10 per foot, and gelcoat correction at CA$28 per foot. Your exact quote is confirmed at an in-person inspection — we never guess over the phone, and we never charge for work your vessel doesn't need.

Do you come to my marina?

Yes. We care for vessels at marinas and yacht clubs across Lake Ontario and the GTA — including Port Credit, Bronte, Toronto, Whitby, and Hamilton — as well as private docks and storage facilities across Southern Ontario.

Can heavy oxidation be removed from gelcoat?

In most cases, yes. Light to moderate oxidation is removed through machine polishing and multi-stage correction. Severely oxidized or chalked gelcoat may require wet sanding — a controlled restoration we perform only after a mandatory inspection confirms the gelcoat is thick and healthy enough for the process.

What is marine ceramic coating and is it worth it?

Marine ceramic coating is a long-term protective layer bonded to your gelcoat or paint that provides multi-year UV resistance, hydrophobic self-cleaning behaviour, and significantly easier maintenance. On a corrected surface, it preserves the finish and reduces how often polishing is needed — which is why we apply coatings only after the surface has been properly cleaned and corrected.

Do you offer boat winterization and shrink wrap?

Yes. Our seasonal services include autumn winterization preparation, professional shrink wrapping with proper ventilation, and spring reactivation. Booked together as a seasonal bundle, your vessel is managed across the entire off-season. Capacity is limited each fall, so we recommend reserving early.

How is Monarch different from other boat detailers in Ontario?

Three things. First, a preservation-first sequence — inspect, clean, correct only if needed, protect, document — instead of a one-size wash. Second, honest scoping: if your finish doesn't need correction, we tell you. Third, condition documentation: every engagement is recorded with before-and-after photography and written condition reports, building a documented care history that protects your vessel's resale value.

Do you detail boat interiors?

Yes. Our interior programs range from a guest-ready cabin refresh to our flagship Signature Cabin Restoration, covering upholstery extraction, leather conditioning, galley and head detailing, and protection of all interior materials. Persistent odour and moisture problems are handled through a dedicated remediation service following an inspection.
